WebMar 15, 2024 · Install the line clamp near the firewall with the 1 torx screw. Now go back under the hood and install the 2 heater hosed to the pipes and tighten the clamps. Top off the coolant and connect the battery. Leave the cap off the reservoir to help bleed some air from the system. WebMar 12, 2012 · 251 711 629 goes to the left heater shroud. 251 711 643 goes to the warm air distributor. 251 711 647 goes to the fresh air flap. 255 259 271 goes to the passenger comp. vent. 253 711 605 is the heating control cable. I could be very wrong here, but I think the one you need is the one above in bold. WebThen, attach the cables and connect the plug on the new heater control panel assembly. 4. Place the new Mustang heater controls over the screw holes and reinstall the four screws. 5. The original and reproduction heater control assembly are shown side by side for comparison. The new assembly is great quality and well made.

WebJan 19, 2015 · To get full heat (until summer) pull the wires off the heater (water) control valve under the bonnet. They fail 'open' so the valves will see it as 'fail' = full heat. There are AMF fixes on various E32 sites. Your problems were never 'plugs' - they either fail or work. Replace all the small bore vacuum tubes.

Didn't for me-So I bought a new cable ($12 I think) and went to work replacing it. Get ready for about half a day.
