Usually they flicker before they completely burn out. The neon lamp burning out is not hazardous in any way. The lamps are not replaceable. WebBoth sets of lights seem to work fine 99% of the time. Occasionally, dimming the regular dimmer (adjacent room) causes all of the Philips Hue lights to shut off and flicker. Usually, after this behavior - everything goes back to normal. I suspect there's some kind of interference issue with the regular dimmer.
